Installation

As a Jekyll theme gem (Jekyll >= 3.3):

1. Install Jekyll and Bundler
2. Create a new Jekyll app
3. Enter the new directory
4. Remove Jekyll auto-generated default pages, custom layouts, or existing theme files
5. Remove the existing Gemfile.lock
6. Download the repository and locate the starter-kit folder
7. Put everything in the starter-kit folder in the root directory of your Jekyll app
8. Run bundle install to install dependencies
9. Run Jekyll with bundle exec jekyll serve
10. Access the website at http://localhost:4000 and start customizing

As a fork:

1. Fork the repository
2. Clone the forked repository
3. Delete the starter-kit folder and the jekyll-theme-simple-texture.gemspec file (if present)
4. Install Bundler if not already installed
5. Update the Gemfile to include the necessary dependencies
6. Run bundle install to install dependencies
7. Run Jekyll with bundle exec jekyll serve
8. Access the website at http://localhost:4000 and start customizing
